Event Recap

On October 1, 2025, crews made a significant impact during the ROC the Block event in the Westhaven neighborhood. By raising low-hanging tree branches and clearing excessive wild growth, they improved accessibility by ensuring sidewalks and curb areas were safe and clear for residents. The removal of vines and tree branches from the fence surrounding Westhaven Elementary School enhanced the school's appearance.

In collaboration with the Chief of Police, crews participated in a crucial homeless camp cleanup on Frederick Blvd. by hauling away shopping carts filled with belongings, boxes, bikes, an old guitar, a wooden desk, clothes, and litter. They also took the initiative to remove debris, such as tires and tree limbs, while collecting over 100 orange bags that employees had left along the roadside during their neighborhood walk for ROC the Block. Additionally, the removal of 10 tree stumps was identified as a future task to maintain the area.

Employees collected 224 bags of trash and spoke to citizens creating 20 See Click fix tickets.
