Event Recap

ROC the Block – Olde Towne

City employees joined residents in Olde Towne for ROC the Block, working together to keep the neighborhood clean while connecting with community members. Throughout the event, participants picked up litter, identified maintenance concerns, and spoke with residents about issues affecting their neighborhood.

Employees noted the positive interactions with residents, many of whom expressed appreciation for the City's efforts and asked how they could get involved. The event continues to build momentum across Portsmouth by encouraging civic pride, fostering community engagement, and strengthening relationships between residents and City staff.
